We’re getting married!

Melissa was sitting in her patrol car on the border of the township that she was working for as a part-time police officer when a patrol car from the neighboring township pulled up adjacent to her. It was Rob :) They met and talked for 45 minutes. He asked her out shortly thereafter to a game, but due to certain circumstances, it did not happen. Rob and Melissa stayed friends for about 3 years, until they decided they needed to go on a date. Their first date was dinner during the Covid pandemic. Rob’s house was currently under renovation, so the first date was sitting on the living room floor with no furniture watching a movie. Melissa says it was the best date ever!! When Rob proposed, they finally got to go to the game that evening, the one they weren’t able to go to from that first date proposal.
