How do I get to Corsicana (Richland Chambers Lake)?

Answer

If flying, we suggest arriving at Dallas Love Field and renting a car (or carpool), where the drive is roughly 1 hour south of Dallas to the Hampton Inn & Suites. Otherwise, drive time from Austin is 2.5-3 hours depending on where you're coming from. The shuttle from the hotel to the Ramsey Lake House is about 15 minutes.

Can we drive directly to your lakehouse?

We please ask that all guests arrive via shuttle, where we will have 2 continuously running buses from 3:30-9:30 pm between the hotels and venue. This ensures our guest's safety and respects our neighbors from very limited street parking.

Do I have to stay at the hotel?

Answer

Nope! You can park at either hotel and find our shuttle service from there, but we recommend staying the night if you have a long drive or plan to enjoy a few signature cocktails.

Can we opt in for an Airbnb/Vrbo listing instead of the hotel options?

Answer

Surely! Just please be cognizant of the location in relation to the hotel, where we will be shuttling guests over to the venue. Richland Chambers is a large body of water, so we would hate to add more time to your commute than needed.

Kid friendly or plus ones?

Answer

All invited guests and their plus ones and/or kiddos are addressed accordingly on the invitations.

What should I wear?

Answer

We're casual out here, but since it's a celebration, we suggest Garden Attire. This means sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and jackets are encouraged but not required. Ladies, we recommend leaving the stilettos at home, we'll be in the grass so opt for flats, platforms, or block heels. Guys, slacks and boots are great but please skip the jeans, if you can.

What if it rains?

Answer

Not to fear! We have extra tents, umbrellas, flip-flops and the works on standby to ensure nothing interferes with our special day. We'll be celebrating rain or shine!
