We are getting married!

During the Global Pandemic we needed a time out from it all. We snuck away to Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort! Our last day there consisted of a quick hike, petting puppies, brunch, private mineral soaks, massages, drinks, relaxation, and a romantic dinner by the pond. Little did I know what the night had in store for our future! After dinner we took a little night stroll to a private seating area pathed with roses to a candle lit table with two dozen roses awaiting us. For a split second I was confused but then I turned to him and immediately saw the look on his face which gave away what was about to happen. He got on one knee and popped the question! Any guesses on my answer!? Now almost a year later we are tying the knot and want to share this special day with our loved ones!

We met at work. Erika's first nursing job was in the ICU at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces. Harold had also been working for MMC. He was and still is the Nursing Administrator. One of the first times we met was on the unit. Harold was very kind and welcoming, and Erika absolutely took his breath away. After many visit to the unit along with his candy bag Harold finally asked Erika out on a date. Our first date was at Sakura Japanese Hibachi Grill. We ate sushi and had a great time. Fast forward 3 and a half years later...wedding time!
