We love kids! But not at our wedding. Make arrangements ahead of time for childcare. For guests who need help arranging childcare- we have babysitters arranged for that evening at the hotel. You’ll be responsible for paying them to watch your kiddo but you’re welcome to use them. Let me know if you need their info!
While we won’t be having a formal, plated dinner- we will have an assortment of heavy hors d’oeuvres.
We do not have a hotel block reserved. Visit the “travel” tab to check out accommodations. You can stay at The Ivey’s Hotel where the wedding is taking place. There is also a more affordable option very close nearby.
Cocktail attire to semi-formal. Jewel tones or black preferably. Men- no jeans please. Suit and tie or dress pants and a nice shirt.
The ceremony and reception will both take place at Sophia’s Lounge at the Ivey’s Hotel. We will have a short and sweet ceremony, we are looking forward to spending the evening celebrating with our friends and family!
The ceremony starts at 6 pm. Be there or be square. If you want to grab a drink before it starts, plan accordingly.
If your invitation has two names or says “and guest”, then yes. Otherwise, please don’t. We’ve planned and budgeted accordingly. Not sure? Just ask.
Yes, let us know and we’ll see what we can do!
There is a parking deck across from Sophia’s Lounge that guests can park in. It is pay to park. Note- the entrance to the Ivey’s Hotel and Sophia’s Lounge are on different streets. If you use GPS, put Sophia’s Lounge into your GPS so you get to the right place!
Guests with physical limitations or elderly guests may use the valet. Otherwise you will need to use the parking deck or Uber. We do have arrange this with the hotel so if it is needed please let me know and I’ll take care of it!
The wedding is in January and it might be cold. Or we will be sweating 🤷🏼♀️ There will be a place to hang your coats upon arrival.
