Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport, about 10-15 minutes by taxi or Uber, and also has access to the Metro. Washington Dulles (IAD) is about 20-25 minutes away by taxi or Uber.

Metro (subway) is safe and the easiest way to get around. Taxis and Ubers are also plentiful around the city.
