Let's Do This!

We met the way all couples these days meet - a dating app. Our first date was at Zoobie's Old Towne Tavern in Lansing, MI. Over Moscow Mules and Zoobie's famous gummy bear shots we talked about what matters most in life - family, friends and cats. We closed our tab and we went to play darts at Moriarty's Pub in downtown Lansing. Steve says "That night was the best I've ever played darts in my life " Anna says "That night was the worst I've ever played darts in my life" Our second date, Steve made fajitas at his apartment for Anna and over the sounds of Frank Ocean and Ja Rule Anna learned that Steve was better at eating Mexican food than he was at cooking it. Soon after that, we became inseparable. We started dating in February of 2017, and by August of 2017 we had moved in together and set our sights on moving to Colorado. After announcing our the big move to everyone we know, Anna was offered a job in Austin, Texas and Steve joined her. Life moves quickly and often people are introduced in your life when you expect them the least but need them the most. We are so fortunate to have found each other and so grateful to all of our loved ones who have helped shape us into the people we are today. Oh, and for modern dating apps.
