This is really happening

We started talking through social media and had talked for couple months before i let him know where I worked at. At the time, I worked at a local grocery store. I had only ever seen pictures of him, so if I were to see him in person, I really wouldn't have known who he was. He would come in to my store from time to time and talk to me as a customer. When I realized who he was, he asked me out. I declined.. a few times. I was playing hard to get I guess lol. Something eventually changed. I was cashier on this one particular day. He came in and bought a snickers and Mt Dew lol asked me out again, and finally got a yes from me. As we got to know each other over time, we realized that we have always been in close proximity to each other. We grew up with the same people and in the same town. I knew his grandparents, some of our families were even friends. We found out that we only lived a block away from eachother. We dated on and off. Life got busy and so did we. We grew apart a little but every time, we ended up back together. I like to think that it’s fate. We are meant to be together. So here we are today.. getting ready to be married!!

This is our engagement story... Josh and I had been talking about engagement for a while but that’s all I thought it was... was talk. Little did I know, he had been talking to my family about where and when he should do it and had already bought a ring. So here we are on 12-15-18, at my nephew’s birthday party. As the party was winding down, he pulled me to the front of the room. He told me how much he loved me and asked me to marry him. I said yes (of course)! It was a wonderful surprise and I loved that we were surround by all of my family. He also did very very well at picking out my ring! 💍
