QUESTIONS?

Hopefully we can help clear up any questions you may have before the big day! If you can't find the answer here, feel free to message us up until a week before the wedding.
Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by Valentine's Day (February 14, 2020)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5pm, so we recommend you arrive between 4:30 and 4:45 because parking could be difficult. There is only one entrance so when the bride arrives, the doors will be closed until the ceremony ends.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We will be dressed in our best and we ask that you wear something nice to celebrate our big day. Tuxes and gowns are not expected! Cocktail attire includes dresses or slacks with a button-down shirt.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The people listed on the invitation are the people who are invited to the wedding. If your invitation says "Your Name & Guest" then you can bring a date.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Everything is taking place in downtown Springfield on a Saturday night and we would love to see you and your date enjoy a kid-free event.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking in downtown Springfield is hit or miss. You may find a spot close to the hotel, you may have to park a few blocks away. Hotel Vandivort offers valet parking for $5 ($12 for overnight). There is a parking garage on McDaniel street that also charges $5 to park for events and $12 for overnight parking. There is a concert downtown on 3/14 so many lots that are usually free, will likely not be free that night. Some nearby lots and garages charge a fee to park, but there are free lots, garages, and street parking available as well. If you're staying in Springfield, we recommend using a ride share service like Uber or Lyft.

Question

Can I propose to my significant other at your wedding?

Answer

No. Thanks for asking!
