One fateful late South Georgia Summer night, fate stepped in and placed a Waitress, who had moved back home after 10 years, and a South African Farmer, who had recently come to America on a work visa, in the same place at the same time: the one and only Harvest Moon. Jenna had hesitantly joined her cousin Stacee for a drink after her late Saturday dinner shift, after considering calling it a night. Stacee left the patio to order a second round, when all of the sudden Jenna looked up to see the beautiful, kind and warm brown eyes of a stranger who had approached her for a conversation. That stranger, JC, then bought Jenna a Red Stripe beer, while they talked about life like two old friends catching up on lost time. They ended up shutting down the bar and haven’t gone a day since without each other. The rest is Boo Boo history.

The “official” Boo Boo anniversary. After months of already introducing each other as their significant other, the Boo Boos made it official, and JC romantically asked Jenna to be his girlfriend after a night talking at the same picnic table they had met on the Harvest Moon patio.

On this day, along with the help of Jenna’s best friend of 20 years, Haley, JC planned the perfect, most beautiful proposal at Radium Springs in Albany, Ga and asked Jenna to be a Boo Boo with him forever and always.

About two weeks after their proposal, the Boo Boos were surprised in the best way on Friday the 13th: a BABY Boo Boo. Though it wasn’t quite the order of things happening in their plan, they continue to thank God every for the blessing and honor to being the parents of a beautiful baby girl, Josie Lourina Hammond.
