We knew each other from high school, but never interacted with each other except through mutual friends. One day, a mutual friend invited me to an unknown address. I realized I did not know where I was going or who all would be there, she just told me they were having a game night with friends and wanted me to join them and ensured me I would have a good time. I showed up to this unknown address and it happened to be BJ's house. We were immediately attracted to one another and started talking. By nights end he asked for my phone number we started chit-chatting and overtime became very good friends. He asked me out for lunches, dinners and we just hung out with a group of friends and spent lots of time together over time we just kind of drifted from being friends and hanging out every day to him asking me out on a date and the rest is history.

He called me early that day and asked me to get dressed for a nice date night out. He had driven into town from work and wanted to take me on a date because he missed me. So, I got dressed and he picks me up from my house that evening. At this point, he is not telling me where we are going or what we are doing. I have no clue what our plans are or where we are going. It was all a complete mystery. I had a feeling something was going on, because he was acting very strange. He wasn't talking as much and kept checking his pocket over and over and was just acting really nervous. I felt like something was not quite right, so I kept asking him if he was okay and he responded that he was perfectly fine. He kept saying I just love you so much and so I kind of just waved it off. About that time, we pull into the parking lot of The Melting Pot. I am immediately very excited as it is one of my favorite restaurants. I was thinking how perfect the evening was turning out as I was at my favorite restaurant, and he was all dressed up and he never dresses up. I was thinking this night has started out pretty magical. We go into the restaurant, and they sit us in the exclusive part of the restaurant where it’s totally private no other table is in the room except our table, and it had rose petals decorated all over it with a fresh bouquet of flowers. Immediately, my heart begins to race out of my chest, but I still didn’t put it all together. I was caught up in the flow of our conversation, we laughed a lot and after the main course our dessert comes out on a cute cart, and they put the desert on the table with an engagement ring set neatly on the strawberry. I quickly, turn to look over at him he’s not where he was sitting, he’s on one knee on the ground and begins pouring his heart out to me and is now asking me to be his “Forever Best Friend, His Wife” and I say “Yes, Yes, Yes” and we kiss and continue on with our most special Magical Night!
