The address for Market at Grelen, which will host both the ceremony and reception, is 15091 Yager Rd, Somerset, VA 22972.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 5pm so please arrive at least 15 minutes early to find your seat. The Ceremony will be held at the Market at Grelen in the Half Moon Garden. The ceremony will be outside followed by dinner and reception in the Star Gazing Tent. We highly recommend taking bus transportation to and from our hotel blocks, Comfort Inn & Suites Orange - Montpelier, as our venue has limited parking.

How can I get to the venue?

Answer

If you are staying at our hotel blocks at Comfort Inn and Suites Montpelier Orange VA, we will have bus transportation to and from the venue for our guests. We HIGHLY encourage taking the buses since our venue has limited parking and Orange, VA is a smaller area and ride sharing (such as Uber, Lyft) may be harder or unreliable. Buses will arrive at the hotel block at 3:55pm to drop-off guests at the venue by 4:40pm.

Our wedding ceremony will be held outside in the Half Moon Garden and the reception will be held inside the star gazing tent. Market at Grelen will be the venue for both the ceremony and reception.

What footware should I wear for the wedding?

Our wedding ceremony will be held outside and the reception will be inside the star gazing tent at the Market at Grelen. Our venue is a flower shop with gravel, stoned paths, and grass so please wear comfortable shoes!

What will the weather be like in April in Virginia?

Answer

Great question! Virginia weather can be finicky but should range from 61°F to 71°F. We will provide fire pits and we will add heating lamps if the weather is colder in April.

Yes! Children have been added to your invites so when you RSVP, their name(s) will appear when applicable.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Garden Party/Cocktail Attire: Please wear colorful dresses, floral prints, and suits. Semi formal/cocktail party/black tie optional. No jeans please.

We have added plus one's to your invite so when you RSVP, it will also include your plus one when applicable.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a wood fired pizza oven serving pizza, which includes a vegetarian option. Dessert will be a red velvet and lemon cake with raspberry filling from Amanda's Signature Sweets and ice cream made by our venue.
