In 2014, Hannah and Teddy met in Frank Hall at Appalachian State University. The two dorm room neighbors quickly became friends and spent many hours talking and studying together. Out of this friendship blossomed a deep love for one another and 8 years later we come together to celebrate that love. Hannah and Teddy’s first few dates consisted of cafeteria food, hikes in the Appalachian mountains, and binge watching Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares. Shortly after graduating Hannah began working full time as an archaeologist and traveled all over the southeastern United States, which meant that Teddy also traveled up and down the east coast to visit Hannah in random hotels on her one day off per week. Teddy started working a fulltime job as a manager of a Float spa in Charlotte and the two made the Queen City their home base. No matter the distance and no matter the difficulties, Hannah and Teddy always put their relationship first. In June 2021, Teddy asked Hannah’s parents for Hannah’s grandmother’s engagement ring. After redesigning it with the help of Hannah’s mother Dianne, Teddy was ready to propose. In August 2021 Teddy popped the question to his dearest friend and, well obviously, she said yes!
