Where is the wedding?

The ceremony and reception will be hosted at The Retreat at Silver Springs, which is just outside of Ocala, FL. This is also where we first met attending camp together back in 2013! 6455 East Silver Springs Blvd. Silver Springs FL 34488

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be outside (weather permitting), however, dinner will be served inside.

What is the last name?

Jonathan has taken the time to dive into his family heritage and made the discovery that the Fulkert name was the American version of the family name. The original version of the name is spelled V-O-L-K-E-R-T. In German, the name Volkert sounds phonetically like Fulkert which is why it got an American twist in the first place. Changing the name back to its original version would be the perfect way to honor the family history, and provide a unique way to represent their new beginning. Family and friends, we will be excited to introduce ourselves as Mr. and Mrs. Volkert on March 23rd – embracing the past, the present and the future.
