Question

Oh My! Where do I park?

Answer

There is some parking inside the gates outside the venue, but it will be limited so please try and carpool, if possible. There are also some parking spots along the road, which you are free to park on. If you do not mind a short walk, please park outside the green gate near a brown sign that says "Double AA Barn" and follow the dirt road to the venue. If you plan on camping at Green Ridge campsite, the venue will be within walking distance.

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the AA Barn which is an outdoor venue. Please come prepared with any light coats for rain & umbrella. There will be shelter within the barn and within a tent should we need to maneuver for rain.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we will be serving BBQ for our wedding dinner with some sides. However, please let us know if you have any food allergies, or other accommodations ahead of time and we will do our best to fit your needs.

What is the attire for the event?

Answer

We will be celebrating outside. This means there may be some rocks, dirt, grass & uneven ground. Please come with flat, closed-toe shoes, boots, anything that is good outdoors. Avoid high-heels, unless they are block heels. As dress, we are requesting semi-formal "Mountain Wear". Casual dresses, slacks and button up shirts.

When will the reception end?

Answer

The venue we have booked is day use only, which means we only have the barn until 10pm. Please plan on leaving around that time, unless you would like to stay around to help clean up :)

How early can we arrive to the venue?

Answer

Please arrive no earlier than 2:45pm. Between 2:45-3:15pm is the time to start arriving at the venue as wedding ceremony will start at 3:30pm.

I'm Lost! How Do I get to the AA Barn?

Answer

The venue is a little tricky to find, if you're in town a day earlier you may want to drive to the gates of the AA Barn. Google Maps will have you take a right on Canal View Drive off of highway 34, this takes you through a neighborhood. It is better to take 34 approximately another 1/2 mile and take a right on CR 66. From here stay straight and the road will take you to the barn. Another set of Directions: Once hitting intersection of Highway 40 and Highway 34, turn right on to Highway 34. Take 34 until you reach County Road 66 (you will pass Lake Granby) Take Country Rd 66 straight for a little bit. You'll cross the bridge and reach main gate for AA Barn. Exact Coordinates to the Venue are: 40.20456 degrees N, 105.84074 degrees W

Is there an after party?

Answer

We will not be hosting an after party. The Bride and Groom will depart from the venue at 9:30pm and the reception area has to be emptied by 10pm. If you want to keep the party going there are a few bars open in Grand Lake, CO until 2am.

What if I don't want to Drive? What are my Transportation Options?

Answer

Uber/Lyft and ride share options are extremely limited, you may be able to schedule something in advance, but there are few drivers in Grand Lake area.
