Maid of Honor
The fam to my jam, my unpaid therapist, call me on my mess, and the most generous person known to the planet. We've been inseparable since we were eleven and watching "bride-day-Friday" every week after school, to now trying to maneuver adulthood together! Our friendship started while walking to school each day, which evolved into "Car rides with J-lo (aka my mom), to then driving each other. When we come together, it is still as if we are back driving to school, listening to Blue October and chatting without a care in the world. You are my forever sister and my moral compass who I strive to be more like each and every day.
Maid of Honor
Big sister. Bigger Brain. Biggest heart. Marly has taught me how to be a boss baddy and to stand up for what I believe in. She shows me how to push hard for my dreams. Marly is my favorite two hour phone call, spotify mix, and absolute weirdest book recommendation. Having you as my sister is the biggest dream come true I could ever imagine- there's no else I would rather have weird conversations with that no one else can comprehend.
Bridesmaid
The Elisa. There is quite literally no one like her on this planet. The first time I met Elisa, she gave me the biggest hug and welcomed me into her family with open arms. I could not ask for a better additional sister. Elisa fills any room she enters with laughter and life and has the most beautiful spirit. You are a gift to every single person you encounter. Te quiero forever, mi hermana.
Bridesmaid
Ziomara has the most genuine and gentle sole of anyone I have ever met. She teaches me, daily, how to live in the moment and enjoy all the moments of the day. My favorite parts of the week are our sunday shenanigans playing games and watching movies all together. I absolutely cannot wait to watch our children grow up together, and I look forward to all of our family game nights to come. Love you, girl.
Bridesmaid
MO!!! The first time I hung out with Morgan was at a coffee shop and I instantly knew we were going to be friends for life. No one encourages and lifts up like Morgan. She is like sunshine. Morgan and I love to go on walks and look at houses while we plan our dream homes which are obviously next to each other with a babbling brook in between. I cannot wait for all our star wars marathons and grown-up sleepovers to come! I love you more than we love pearls books!!
Bridesmaid
My Gracie-poo. My random college roommate, turned best friend, turned soul mate, turned life long amiga. Grace has seen my good, my bad, my ugly, and everything else in between. We have shared many tears, laughs, coffees, late night study-dates, and "you wanna go get some pho?". I loved that phase of life with you and I love this new one even more. To my life long pal- here is to the year we change our last names!
Bridesmaid
Jessica Tracy Weiss. The life of any party and the easiest person to love. Jessica and I met in June before we moved into our dorm together and I spent the rest of the summer impatiently waiting to move in and hang with her all the time! Jessica is a "do you need anything? I'm on my way!" type of friend and is not afraid to tell me when I'm wrong or to push me to see a different perspective. I would not be even close to the person I am today if you were not in my life, I look up to you more than you'll ever know. Love you my queenie girl.
Bridesmaid
Natalie is my twin. So much so that in college marching band, people would often switch us up or simply say "oop, wrong curly haired girl" :/ BUT, if I spent the rest of my life with people thinking I was Natalie Gohman, I would be honored. Natalie and I quickly became study buddies and she was kind enough to give me rides all around town my freshman year. Our coffee dates, lunch dates, movie parties, and hammock hang outs are some of my favorite memories of my time in Fayetteville. Natalie pushes me to be stronger, love fiercely, and laugh at life's curve balls. You are my role model, the best hiking buddy, and the dearest friend I love with my whole heart!
Groomsman
Older Brother. I just really love him, even though we used to fight a lot. We grew up sharing a bed and wearing each other's clothes. I grew up watching him go out and work the fields or haul water and I always wanted to be like him. His relationship with God sets a standard for me and challenges me to be a better man and a better husband through the example he sets (even though he told me our sister was born in a cave and I believed him my whole life).
Groomsman
Younger Brother. The baby of the family whom I have always felt incredibly protective of. I coached his football team, attended music and sporting events, and mostly, I just always want to see him succeed. However, I've hated watching him grow up because he was so cute when he was little, but I am incredibly proud of the man he has become. No one will give you a better motivational speech at 4am on a Monday morning to get up and go do life.
Groomsman
Single-handedly the most misunderstood guy I've ever met in life. When he is expressing himself, I understand him, but I can tell from the reactions of everyone else that no one else is understanding, but I get ya dude. He is funny, the most welcoming, joyful spirited, and the most loving brother-in-law I could've asked for. He is frighteningly unpredictable but I am beyond excited to have you as a brother.
Groomsman
Juan and I met in eighth grade and that's all she wrote. Juan has been there for me in my lowest and at my highest and I just know that he will be there for the rest of my life. We could be out of touch for months, maybe a year, but when we hang out again we pick up right where we left off. I will never forget going on road trips with him and his mom, and his mom yelling obscenities at him the whole time- it was the funniest thing ever. We've been through so much together and it brings me great joy to call him one of my best friends.
Groomsman
One of my closest friends. I remember hanging out during late summer nights, when we were seventeen, planning our future together: college, military, and dreaming together about growing up. Although the plans didn't go the way we hoped, he joined the military and I stayed behind and looked after his family. I feel that although we were distanced, it brought us closer still. Now we are doing real life together, managing adulthood and starting families. I hope we do real life together for the rest of our lives. John has an amazing mind and an even better heart and I hope everyone in the world has a loyal friend like him-love you to death brother.
Groomsman
Man. Kenny. Kenny. Kenny. Single-handedly the most fun, scary, unpredictable, and exciting friendship I've had in the last seven years. He and I got close when John left for the military, and life with Kenny has been a roller coaster since, in a good way. From tearing up the dance floor at Whiskey101 to roommates to cross-country road trips and new experiences together, Kenny has been a constant. He is one of the people I know I can count on and call at three o'clock in the morning and know he will be there. I am so excited for him to be around for the rest of my life, and I know he will be the most fun bonus uncle to my children. I have so much for love that kid.
Groomsman
Bebo. My brotha from anotha motha. Literally. Marlon came into my life when I was in the fifth grade. There's no words for Bebo man, he's just there, he's just my brother. I have always viewed him as nothing less than my brother. He is the closest in age to me, meaning we hung out a little too much and got into a little too much trouble. It was a blessing and a curse. Blessing because I had a brother I went to school with, but also a curse because we were mischievous. From starting a food fight two years in a row, to being in a play together, and riding to school every morning- I cannot imagine my childhood and my high school years without him. He is probably the smartest/dumbest/funniest/loyal/down for whatever person you will ever meet.
Groomsman
Austin is one my closest adult-made friends, we met at church through a mutual friend and I quickly found out how kind and caring Austin is. His heart for The Lord and his strive to be the best man he can be has been inspiring and often times frustrating because of how much he challenges me to do the same. I have never met anyone with more of a servant's heart than Austin, he exudes joy when serving others. As my roommate, he has been such a voice of comfort, I know I can count on him through thick and thin. Some of my favorite memories with Austin are random lunch dates or week nights staying to play video games. The feeling of loneliness doesn't exist around him.
Officiant
Oh Micah. The man, the myth, the legend, the ole Turtle. We were thinking about who we wanted to marry us, and there was no question. It was a very quick conversation, actually. Micah Miller is the only man for the job. We are incredibly close with him and his wonderful wife, Morgan. They show us day in and day out what a Godly marriage is, in both the highs and the lows. They are the comforting voice of reason, they are a warm hug on a cold day, our spiritual reset, and they are just as goofy as we are. Our first couple-friend, the first people Hannah trusted to show her Starwars, and our greatest cheerleaders. We love the millers immensely and we cannot wait to see what Micah has in store for the ceremony.
