Question

When/where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both ceremony and reception will be held at the venue, The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek. If weather permits, the ceremony will take place outside. Cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception will take place indoors. Ceremony will begin promptly at 5 pm. We politely ask that you arrive and are seated 15 minutes prior to start time.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The short answer is wear what you're comfortable in. We'd like you to feel your best! The long answer is that the dress code for our wedding can range from dressy casual to semi-formal to cocktail attire. Cocktail dresses, evening dresses, sundresses, casual suits, slacks, button-downs, and sports coats are all perfect options. Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outdoors on grass. We recommend comfortable shoes!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, our venue does have limited space. We respectfully ask that our guests do not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome! We simply ask that you try to be mindful of noise interruptions and politely excuse yourself if necessary.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

In the header of this page, there is a tab labeled RSVP. Enter your name and answer the prompts that follow. Please submit prior to August 24th to help keep us organized as we plan for our big day!
