The Japanese garden is a very lush, beautiful, and peaceful park to walk around. Tickets are required. Make sure to walk through the rose garden across the street.
Another great farmers market located in Lake Oswego, about a 20 minute drive outside the city. The food, booths, bands, people, and facilities are great and overlook the lake.
Considered one of the seven wonders of Oregon, Multnomah Falls is just a quick 35-minute drive east from Portland with breathtaking views and a nice hiking path if you're interested in getting some exercise. If not, just go enjoy the waterfall and snap some photos. Great activity if you have a rental car!
