How we met: Told by Hannah Neither of us can remember the exact day or even year we met but we estimate that it was a good 7 years ago. For years we mostly ran in different circles and our paths would cross only occasionally. In 2016 I consistently started seeing Jason when I joined a casual, sunday afternoon ultimate frisbee group. I remember that He almost never missed a sunday, that he was very kind, easygoing and reeeeally good at ultimate frisbee. Other than that, He kind of blended into the background of my life. Jason was one of those people who was there all along but took me years to find. How it started: Told by Jason A lot of people who know me also know that I like frisbee. While that is true, nothing is more compelling to show up every week than getting the chance to hang out with this really pretty girl. For a couple of years I had a crush on Hannah but never really made more than small talk at frisbee. I needed an in, so to speak, and that was motorcycles. She wanted one and I liked to help people buy them. I used that excuse to text her more and even go out and look at them together. Eventually we found one, big enough for two and after quite a few motorcycle riding lessons and even some long rides down twisting back roads I knew I wanted to truly pursue a relationship with Hannah. How we fell in love: Told by Hannah We went on dates for a month or two and I knew Jason wanted to make it official and was waiting for my answer. On a mini road trip to pick up a piece of work equipment for his business I finally told him I wanted to be his girlfriend. I was terrified. What if it doesn’t work out? What if we break each other's hearts? What if I’m rushing into things? I had a lot of fears. Over the next year Jason broke down every one of those doubts and fears with his steady love for me and his calm temperament and I fell absolutely head over heels in love with him. I still can’t believe that I got so lucky to find a man like Jason. He is the kindest, most profound and beautiful person I’ve ever known and it didn't take long to know I wanted to spend the rest of my life by His side. How he proposed: Told by Jason It was time, I knew I wanted Hannah in my life forever. I had the ring and the date I wanted to propose. We ended up going on a camping trip with our friends that was not expected and with the help of two friends it was perfect. After a nice hike through some mountains in Arkansas and me trying to play it cool I took Hannah by the hand and led her to a blanket by the bluffs. With only the two of us I began to speak what was on my heart and with her hand in mine and one knee on the ground I heard the best thing any man could ever dream. Yes!
