Danny's a body piercer at a local tattoo shop and I met him for the first time when I went into his shop for a piercing. Didn't think much of it, but a few months later he came into my work at the time, and it all hit me. I thought he was so cute so I kept finding reasons to visit him at the tattoo shop, whether it be piercings, bringing friends to get pierced, or just loiter. There was chemistry right away, but he tried to friend-zone me. However, I stayed persistent! An adventure-filled summer and a few dates later, the rest is history.
Danny's parents had thrown a Christmas Eve party and lots of our friends and family were there. A few hours into the party, Danny had handed me a medium sized box wrapped with a bow on top. The entire room quieted down and I knew exactly what was coming! As I tore the wrapper off, it was revealed that it was a Zales box. I opened the box to find a mini baggie that held some sort of small plastic. Confused, I turned and saw Danny kneeling and saying, "That's so you can wear this," holding the actual ring. "Will you marry me?" Of course I said, "Yes!!" We all celebrated together afterwards. The small plastic turned out to be a ring guard because my fingers are so small. Don't worry, the ring got sized and it's nice and snug now!
