We met through a Christian dating app two years ago. (Yeah crazy! It worked!) We talked for a long time, took many walks around parks, and eat lots of food. Soon it became clear that we were always seeking more of each other's time. 30 minute car rides to meet up seemed less of a nuisance and more like an adventure. It’s starting to sound like a country song. We drove around our hometowns telling stories. Laughing, learning, and singing together. Before long, we knew we met the one. **Cue doves and angelic music.**

Just like we always do, we drive around exploring and hiking. We ended up in one of our favorite spots, Pretty Place. (I kind of had a feeling he was going to pop the question but I played along anyways.) There we were all alone, in a spot we've shared intimate moments together, he struggled to get out the ring, as I laughed and teased that he was just bluffing. "Yeah, get that ring pop out!" (He even asked if he needed to get on one knee... hah!) Laughs and giggles aside I was very excited and am thrilled to say yes to my best friend. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in the summer of 2024!
