Our love story began in Kalamazoo Michigan, back in 2017 at Western Michigan University. TJ was a Frequent customer at T.J. Maxx, where Haley worked. But little did Haley know; she was the reason for his frequent visits. Until 4 months later when TJ gathered the courage to ask Haley if she had a boyfriend. Unfortunately, Haley answer was yes. Months passed by And Haley who was newly single and never goes out decided to hang out with her best friend. She went to a kickback at TJ’s house unknowingly. After that Haley and TJ became good friends who often spent time together with their mutual friends. Haley and TJ would find themselves spending hours on the phone together. One day TJ sent Haley a text message stating that he was ready to take things to the next level. Two weeks later Haley and TJ planned a bowling outing with their friends. Their friend cancelled on them hours before, but Haley and TJ still decided to go. They had the time of their lives. Four days later they were on their 2nd date and have been inseparable ever since.

We were in Cancun having an amazing dinner at Harry’s. After dinner there was a beautiful firework show. Shortly after the show I started to complain about how tired I was and how I wanted to get back to the resort. TJ was adamant that I stay patient and wait for dessert. A few minutes later the servers were walking towards our table with a plate of desert, sparklers, and clapping. I thought it was just because my birthday was in two days. Until I looked over and saw TJ on one knee holding a ring box. I was so surprised I had to take a double take. I cried and said “YES” and just like that we were engaged. See you in Puerto Rico!
