On December 27th, 2019, Spencer and I were on our way to tour Dodger's Stadium. It was an early, sunny Friday afternoon. During the 2 hour drive from Oxnard to LA, tension was building. I could tell that something was going to happen by how Spencer was acting: loving and very giddy. His acting skills aren't that great. When we arrived at the stadium, we waited for Spencer's best friends, Jed and Ry in the parking lot. We met the tour guide and photographer right outside of the stadium. I thought it was strange that a photographer came along for the tour, but we were in LA so that had to be normal right? We walked through the layout of the stadium and then proceeded to the field. Our tour guide told us that no one is allowed on the field, but she would make an exception for us. At this point, I definitely knew something was about to happen. Spencer and I stood on home plate and looked out towards the field. As the photographer took our picture, Spencer told me to look at the stands. I saw his family holding a sign that said, "Will you marry me?" As I turn back towards him, he was down on one knee and said, "Haley Elizabeth Stultz, you're all I ever want and all I ever need. Will you marry me?" Side note: I blacked out and had to have Spencer repeat what he said to me.
