Saturday Clambake @ Scargo Manor B&B (909 Main Street, Dennis) // We will have one shuttle picking up those of us who are staying at B&Bs along Route 6A. Here is the shuttle schedule: To the Clambake // Group 1: YARMOUTH GROUP! 4:35pm pickup — Village Inn 4:45pm pickup — Chapter House *drop off at Scargo Manor B&B at 5:05pm* Group 2: BREWSTER GROUP! 5:25pm pickup — Old Sea Pines Inn 5:35pm pickup — Captain Freeman Inn *drop off at Scargo Manor B&B at 5:50pm* From the Clambake // 9:00pm Group 1 (YARMOUTH GROUP!) departs from the Clambake 9:35pm Group 2 (BREWSTER GROUP!) departs from the Clambake Parking at Scargo is pretty much nonexistent. A few ideas we have for nearby parking, should you need to drive, The Cape Playhouse, The Cape Cod Museum of Art, The Cape Cinema, The Mercantile, and The Underground Cafe. Sunday Wedding @ Beach at Chatham Bars Inn (297 Shore Road, Chatham) // We will have two shuttles picking up those of us who are staying at B&Bs along route 6A. Please drop your car off at the complimentary valet circle behind the Main Inn at Chatham Bars Inn, which is right off of Seaview Street. After the wedding, these shuttles will take people to their next stop, whether that’s Drifters (afterparty), or home sweet home. Want to go to the afterparty? Hop on either bus, doesn’t matter which! If you’d like to go home, and you took the YARMOUTH BUS to the wedding, please get BACK ON THE YARMOUTH BUS to go home. Same deal with the BREWSTER BUS. If you get on the wrong bus to go home, there’s nothing we can do! We love our little nieces and nephews and cousins! We hope they will join our wedding festivities at The Welcome Slice Party on Friday and The Brunch on Monday, but we want our wedding to be your night off! Please let us know if you need help making arrangements for your little ones for the night.
Ubers and Lyfts are very limited on the Cape. We suggest texting friends with cars and coordinating carpools, as well as renting cars of your own, if at all possible!
Cape Cod is rarely muggy in early September, but days can get hot, and nights can get nippy. Packing for summer, but also bringing a versatile jacket (e.g. a denim jacket) and a comfy cozy sweater or sweatshirt will serve you well!
-A light jacket or sweater for the evening of The Clambake -A shawl or equivalently fancy warm item for the evening of The Wedding -Your dancing shoes! literally...comfy shoes for dancing at The Wedding -Your favorite sweatshirt -Your favorite swim suits -Bug spray -Sunscreen -A sheet/picnic blanket, if that's your thing!
