We first met at Iron Tide Crossfit during an evening class. Haley got to choose the music genera for that night and chose Red Hot Chili Peppers! A couple weeks later, we ended up matching on Bumble and started talking to each other through that app. Our first date shortly followed where we found out our birthdays are super close and we even grew up not too far from each other! It didn't take long for us to fall in love and start going on adventures with each other! Now here we are ready for this great adventure and many others to come!

Haley's friend Candace picked her up for what was supposed to be a girls night out drinking in Beaufort. Josh then scrambled to get ready and meet up with Haley's childhood best friend Rachael and her husband Jamey. Josh was hiding on the boardwalk, of the Beaufort waterfront, to surprise Haley while they were walking to another bar. Candace lead Haley straight to where Josh was hiding. Luckily Josh paid off some dolphins to breach the water, so the girls were distracted while Josh got in place on the boardwalk. When Haley noticed Josh, she walked into his arms only for Josh to get down on one knee. With the sun setting over the water and dolphins swimming in the sound, Josh asked Haley to marry him! It didn't take long for Haley to say yes! After a long embrace and a kiss, Josh pointed in the direction of Haley's best friend because she had yet to see her. Haley was surprised and excited to have her childhood best friend there for this moment. The night continued with a dinner at Beaufort Hotel, drinks at Green Room with friends, and dancing at Jacks!
