Dallas is located in the northeastern part of Texas, close to the border shared by Oklahoma & Texas. Dallas is not near the beach (sorry).
The average high temperature for Dallas in April is about 78 degrees. It does rain a lot in April. We recommend checking out the weather a few days before traveling so you can pack accordingly.
Semi-Formal, so tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. However, rest assured there will be no fashion police at the wedding, & you should dress in what makes you feel your best! We are just happy to have you. :)
While we have no outright objection to you bringing your kiddos, the ceremony & reception are pretty late. So you do what you think you need to do! Please also refer to your invitation for additional guests & children.
We advise getting there about 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony (7:15 PM).
It'll be fun, trust us. :) The reception will start immediately following the ceremony, so feel free to head over to the venue (2616 Commerce Street Event Center) as soon as you leave the church. Food will be ready for you!
Yes! We will start the service promptly at 7:30 PM, & the whole mass + wedding will last about 45-50 minutes. For those of you that haven't been to a full Catholic wedding or mass, no worries. We won't leave you hanging without guidance.
We have reserved a parking lot adjacent to the venue. To get to the parking lot from Commerce street, turn right onto Henry street, then follow signs to Parking Lot C. There will be a parking attendant & security.
The ceremony will be 100% indoors. As for the reception venue, we have the option of a rooftop or indoor reception, & we will make that call the day before the wedding. Please trust that we will do our best to make sure our guests are as comfortable as possible, so unless the weather is more or less guaranteed to be perfect, we will have the reception indoors.
Though late, we will provide you all with plenty of food & drink! There will be a buffet, & you can eat as much or as little as you please. Speaking of food, definitely check out our "Things To Do" page for a ton of great restaurant recommendations.
Yes. :) It might be tougher to come across vegan options, but we will do our best to make sure everyone is full & happy.
YES! We are having an awesome live band for you, so definitely come ready to groove.
