What is the dress code?
Answer
Smart casual! Some ideas include khakis, nice jeans, button up shirts, sweaters, flannels, skirts, blouses, dresses, cardigans, and rompers. Just dress up your normal casual attire!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outdoors, under a pavilion. The reception will take place indoors. We plan to have outdoor games at the reception as well.

What is for dinner?
Answer
We will be having a buffet style dinner including pulled pork, mac and cheese, potato’s, green beans, and corn bread!

Will there be alcohol provided?
Answer
Yes, there will be a few select options available, but you are encouraged to bring your own coolers and your favorite drinks for you to help us celebrate!

Where can we put our coolers?
Answer
We ask that you keep your coolers in your vehicle until the reception starts, then you are more than welcome to bring it inside! Alcohol is NOT permitted at the ceremony.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
Answer
We politely ask that you do not take pictures at our ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to take pictures for us. We would love to see your smiling faces as we look back at our pictures and not your phones or cameras. However, feel free to take pictures during our reception!

Right here on our website! OR message the mother of the bride, Traci Heil at 217-412-1497, with your name(s) and “accept” or “decline!” RSVP deadline is August 16th 2023.

Answer
The RSVP deadline is August 16th, 2023! If you have not RSVP'd 1 week prior to the deadline, someone will reach out to you, to remind you. If you or someone included on your invitation is unable to come, please let us know!
