Tonga Room at The Fairmont
Please confirm if you intend to join us for dinner as reservations are required, otherwise feel free to join us for drinks at the bar around 8PM. Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar has delighted guests with its tropical décor, decadent libations and Polynesian-fusion cuisine. Following its $1 Million restoration by Gensler San Francisco, Tonga Room has rekindled the excitement of its unique and time-honored décor, recapturing its original tiki glory. The bar area features a sleek granite top bar and luxurious “good luck red” leather banquettes. Colorful tribal wall coverings add excitement throughout the restaurant. Tonga Room features The Island Groove Band, which performs top-40 hits from a thatch-covered barge on the “lagoon;” a dance floor built from the remains of the S.S. Forester, a schooner that once traveled between San Francisco and the South Sea Islands; and periodic tropical rainstorms, complete with thunder and lightning.

Dresdner will be at the pier promptly around 3PM, Halcie will be arriving casually late around 5PM.
Stow Lake Boathouse at Golden Gate Park
Stow Lake is one of the headline attractions of Golden Gate Park - your friends and family will have a great time at the Stow Lake picnic area. After snacks, go rent a paddleboat and join the fun on the lake itself! Picnic & Party Features o The entire set of eight picnic tables and two BBQ grills at Stow are reserved. The picnic area is located at the far end of the parking lot, across from the Boathouse. The tables are each marked with a Park number. o Restrooms are located onsite. o Cheers! Beer and wine are welcome at the Stow Lake Boathouse picnic area, but kegs and liquor are not. Remember: carrying open alcoholic beverages outside the picnic area is never permitted. o There is a grassy area in between the picnic tables, but may not be big enough for most lawn games or sports. o The picnic area at Stow Lake is on Stow Lake Drive, at the far end of the parking lot across from the Boathouse.
