Welcome to our site!

The year is 2020, the Pandemic is at its height, so how else would you meet your partner? Hinge :) From chats, phone calls and movie date nights to in-person meet ups and day long hikes; they had an interesting start, but everything about our journey has been paced and intentional. Since our first meetup at Kenneth Han Park, when Hakeem was late; but only because he was buying smoothies (that Brittany forgets she gave the okay on when he called! -_-...continue), Brittany knew this was going to be... interesting, but it would all be worth it in the end. Hakeem thought Brittany was a smart aleck who always had something slick to say (because she was), but he could admit she would always keep him on his toes (and she does). Before the end of the first date, the second one was already planned. A hike to Trail Canyon Falls. That day Brittany met Venus, Hakeem's furry BFF, and the 3 of them spent the next 8 hours exploring the trail and getting to know each other better while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Angeles National Forest. Little did they both (really just Brittany...I had plans) know, this would be the site where Hakeem would eventually pop the question and their story would be just beginning. :)
