Question

What's the wedding day dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! This is a black tie requested event. We prefer you wear black, but for a cohesive look in our photos, we also welcome neutral attire like beige, olive, grey, and navy. Ladies: Please keep your attire floor or tea length (dresses, jumpsuits, etc.) Gentlemen: tuxedos are preferred, but black or dark suits are also welcome.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our wedding weekend adults only. We thank you for your understanding.

Question

Will transportation be provided to get to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to Sacred Heart Catholic Church from Epicurean Hotel starting promptly at 1:00pm. The time to travel from the hotel to the church is only approximately 10 minutes, but we prefer you use our transportation to alleviate parking stress. Transportation will be provided back to the hotel promptly after the ceremony and the group photo in front of the church.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be in a Catholic Church. Please be respectful and keep your phones put away while in the church. We've hand selected an incredible photographer (her name is Tiffany) and we're sure she'll get amazing photos of our ceremony. We promise to share them with you later!

Question

I don't have a tux but I'd like to wear one. Where can I rent one?

Answer

Tux rentals have gotten easier and you can now rent from the comfort of your own home. Both of these companies offer modern, affordable, tuxedos for rent. You can also do a free at home try ahead of time, to ensure you'll have the perfect fit when it comes to the real deal. The Blk Tux: www.theblktux.com Generation Tux: www.generationtux.com For a more traditional tux rental process, Men's Warehouse is an option. Find a store near you on their website: www.menswearhouse.com

Question

Ok! I know I'm wearing a tux, but there are so many options. What kind do you prefer?

Answer

We aren't picky when it comes to tux style, but we really like the look of a traditional black tuxedo. Some terminology you might see when shopping would include: Lapels: we like the look of a peak lapel, notch lapel tuxedo, and shawl lapel tuxedo. Bow tie or regular tie?: Tuxedos will always have a bow tie, not a regular tie. Suspenders or vest?: Whatever you're comfortable in! All that to say, we want you to look and feel your best! Feel free to put your own style and flair into your look! You could incorporate fun socks, cuff links, pocket square color, etc.
