Cliff Notes: I want the standard marriot, not too far from town with reasonable room rates, and a pool for kids. 10 minute drive from Zuanich Park - Fisherman's Pavilion (Venue), 4 blocks from Downtown Bellingham. Seattle, Everett, and Bellingham Airporter pick up and drop off here so logistically the easiest hotel for a no car trip. Cliff Notes: I want a view of the water in the "cute" part of town where I can walk to food and shops. In downtown Fairhaven, 5 minutes south of Bellingham, drive/ 12 minute drive to Zuanich Park - Fisherman's Pavilion (venue).

Not a hotel... wedding website doesn't let me pick another option :( Cliff Notes: I want to camp on the water in the PNW and am planning to rent a car or drive. 25 minute drive along the ocean to Downtown Bellingham or a 10 mile bike path.

Other Overnight Options

Hotels: The two other nicer hotels in town are the Hotel Leo in Downtown Bellingham and the Chrysalis Inn and Spa (a Hilton) right on the water between Fairhaven (2 minute walk) and Bellingham (20 minute walk). There are a number of chain hotels near the airport as well that are only 15 minutes to the venue and a few smaller hotels around town that are cheaper. 1 hr 45 min to 3 hours from Bellingham depending on the traffic. Getting to Bellingham: Rental Car: Variety of options available Bellair Airporter (https://airporter.com): Drops off at 4 points by Sheraton - one of the hotel options. Train: Take the light rail to S King Street and walk 1 block to the King Street train station. Bus and Amtrak train available to downtown Bellingham. Limited times.

1 hour to Bellingham. Getting to Bellingham: Rental Car: Enterprise, Avis, Turo, and Getaround Bellair Airporter (https://airporter.com): Drops off at 4 points by Sheraton - one of the hotel options. More limited times than SeaTac.

Vancouver International - Vancouver Canada VYR

1 hour to Bellingham depending on the boarder Getting to Bellingham: Rental Car: Variety of options - when you book, make sure they know you intend to cross the US boarder. Train: Canada Line light rail to Roundhouse station and walk to the Amtrak station (Pacific Central Station). An Uber from the airport to the train station is also cheap. You go through customs on the train which is pretty simple and the train goes to downtown Bellingham.

Bellingham Airport - BLI

Lyft and Taxi's are available from the airport to anywhere in Bellingham for pretty cheap. Alaska and Allegiant are the only two airlines that fly in and out of Bellingham currently and there can be cheaper flights from cities where Allegiant has direct flights.
