We met while working at Hobby Lobby. We started off as friends, while I (Hailey) was oblivious to Andy having feelings for me. While working together, we also went to college together. Eventually I realized that I also had feelings for Andy as well. In January of 2020 we had been hanging out a lot more and going out on what I thought was friend dates haha, I finally asked him what we were and he laughed at me and said he was going to ask my dad that following Sunday.

Both our families went to Point Defiance Zoo to go see the zoo lights. I had a feeling but wasn’t to sure if he was really going to propose or not. We were coming up to the end of the lights and we’re going through a light tunnel. I didn’t realize that our families had stopped to record and take pictures. I had stopped and turned around to r2d2 scream at my sister when I saw the cameras. Then I turned back around and saw Andy down on one knee ❤️
