Travel

Giverny is a small village in Normandy, most notable as the home of Claude Monet and the inspiration for his water lily series. Given Giverny's small size and popularity, we recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible. We encourage you to stay in Giverny at one of the local bed & breakfasts or a nearby Airbnb, most of which are within walking distance of our venue. Additional accommodations are also available in the nearby town of Vernon - a 10 minute drive from Giverny. Giverny and the surrounding area is best experienced by car - we recommend renting a car for traveling to and around Giverny. Additionally, Vernon is easily accessible by train from Gare Saint-Lazare in Paris. For those staying in Vernon, we will assist coordinating travel to and from the venue - please let us know if you intend to stay in Vernon so we can help coordinate travel service for the ceremony & reception.
