This trailhead takes about 40 minutes to climb 1.3 Miles. Beautiful, stunning views. There are many other hikes in the area including some great ones in Malibu -- like Solstice Canyon and Escondido Falls!
Great trailhead. Hike up can be challenging for some on a warm day. Bring water. Warning. There is a stop sign when you enter the park. You must come to a complete stop or expect a ticket for $100 to come to you in the mail. It's happened to many of us native Los Angelines!
It's a lovely stroll on the Malibu Pier alongside Surfrider Beach. Malibu Farm restaurant has two restaurants on the pier. One is a sit down and be served spot right up front. The other is at the back of the pier where you can order food and grab a table. We prefer the views there!
Upscale boutiques and restaurants in walking distance from the Malibu Pier. Check out Broad Street Oyster for a fabulous lobster role!.
