The ceremony is at the Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel. There is some parking near the chapel, follow the signs to the staff entrance of the gardens. You can also park in the main parking lot. It's a lengthy (and beautiful) walk.
The reception is at the Missouri Barn. There is parking near the barn, just past the main parking lots.
Once upon a time, this would have been called "Sunday Best", however over the years this term has steadily lost all meaning. This is a Sunday afternoon wedding, so for younger generations think Kentucky Derby, for older think Sunday Best. What this looks like: Khakis and a button-up, Sundresses, light-colored suits, and pan suits. What this doesn't look like: Tuxedos, Club Dresses, Jeans, T-Shirts, Ballgowns
I do not recommend this. This venue is in an outer suburb of Kansas City and is a 35-45 minute drive from downtown KC. You may be able to drive down there but getting a lift back will be hard.
Yes, please feel free to bring your children
For those who care to know, the main colors of the wedding are navy blue and pale pink. For color swatches, you may text Gwen or Dawson or reference your invitation.
All parental units are accounted for and are attending.
