Gustav and Ashley met for the first time in 5th grade. Gustav instantly had a crush on her. He liked her so much that he made the bold move to cut off some of her long curly hair. Ashley was not sure of Gustav at that point. They were classmates from 5th grade all the way until 12th grade. They were always near each other but had different friend groups and different interests. They graduated together from Bellingham High School in 2007. Fast forward to 2020. Ashley decided to try her luck on Bumble, the dating website. At the beginning of May, she received a notification that read "Gustav likes you." She thought to herself "There is only one Gustav I know and there is no way it could be the same one." Ashley clicked on his profile. Low and behold it was the same Gustav she knew from all those years ago. Not only was he as handsome as ever but he was also a father to a adorable little boy. Ashley couldn't believe it. She decided to make the first move and sent him a message. Gustav replied right away and Ashley gave him her number. They started texting each other and hit it off immediately. After two weeks of texting, they decided to meet in person. Trying to plan a date during a pandemic was difficult. They settled with dinner at Ashley's apartment. They hit it off immediately. The next day Ashley met Gustav's son Bronson. She fell in love with that little guy right away. Pretty soon Ashley and Gustav had fallen head over heels for each other and Bronson had accepted Ashley into his life. Ashley jumped into the roll of stepmom and never looked back. 2 years later Gustav asked Ashley to spend the rest of their lives together and for her to officially be Bronson's stepmom. Ashley of course said yes.
