Josh and Deanna found each other online! After they got to know each other, they were surprised to learn that they shared something rather unique in common - they were both previously engaged to the wrong people! They bonded quickly because of their shared bad luck in their love lives, but their similarly quirky antics were what strengthened their newly-found relationship. Josh was intrigued by Deanna's goofiness and creativity (and her ability to spoil him with sweet home-made treats), and Deanna was drawn to Josh's love for life and his flare for insanely dumb Dad jokes. More importantly, they both have a passion for sharing meaningful and hours-long conversations about their Christian faith. It wasn't long before they realized God had meant for them to experience the wrong person in order to learn who their RIGHT person was!

Life likes to throw interesting curveballs at us. Seriously. Josh was going to beautify Deanna's house while she was at work and surprise her with his proposal when she came back home. Unfortunately, Deanna became sick with COVID-19 and had to call in sick on that very day! Josh frantically called the florist he had ordered several bouquets of roses from to reschedule the delivery but it was too late! The florist could not cancel his order but the order could be delayed one day... DUN. DUN. DUN. Josh had to come up with a new plan. The next day, Josh told Deanna to hide in her bedroom while he set up the house for the magical moment. He set up a cascading pathway of rose petals and lit candles everywhere. Along the pathway throughout the house he set up those rose bouquets, each one holding up signs leading into the big question... Finally when Deanna reached the end of the pathway in a room, Josh came out from the closet he was hiding in, got down on his knee, and popped the question!
