We met in 2009 at pre-season soccer camp at Anderson University! Sarah was about to begin her freshmen year and I was going into my Sophomore year. We both arrived early on campus to start training for the soccer season and the Coach, my Dad, was the coach for both the Men's and Women's team. During pre-season our teams did everything together from practice, eat lunch, activities and dinners at my Dad's house. One evening, at my Dads house, Sarah looked down from the huge living room window at me and my friends outside. Sarah asked my Dad, "who is that guy?" - it happened to be me, Sarah not knowing I was the coaches son- and she followed up with "Im going to date that guy!". I had an eye for Sarah before the season started because the guys soccer team would always take a sneak peak at the Women's soccer teams head shots before the season began. We were both immediately attracted to each other. I made the first move and would ask Sarah to sit on the bus with me as we traveled to away games during the season and her and I would grab dinner at the Haven frequently! Fast forward four months and I asked her to be my girlfriend on November 5, 2009! Ever since we have been best friends, number one supporters, and I love her more than anything. So, ten years later on November 5, 2019 I asked her to marry me! We are so excited to share our love and lifetime commitment in front of all of you this upcoming October!
