What is the recommended wedding attire?

Answer

We want our guests to wear what makes them feel happy! Casual, festive, and formal are all welcome!

Are children allowed?

Answer

Due to budgetary constraints, our ceremony and reception are small and private. We will only be able to accommodate children who are in the wedding party.

What is your photo policy?

Answer

We ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, however photos throughout the rest of the day are welcome and encouraged!

Can guests spend more time at Fernwood Gardens?

Answer

Yes! Guests have free access to the gardens for the entirety of the wedding day, during Fernwood’s business hours.

What is the difference between the reception and weekend barbecue?

Answer

Due to budgetary constraints our reception must remain small. The reception is a private event for invited guests. The weekend barbecue is open to anyone who would like to celebrate with us! It will be informal and hosted in a separate location.

Will alcohol be served?

There will be a cash bar only.

I received a Save the Date but it only mentions a live streamed ceremony. Is that correct?

Answer

Yes! Due to budgetary constraints we are unable to invite everyone in person, but we wish we could! To be as inclusive as possible for all our friends and family, we are live-streaming the ceremony for those who can’t be with us that day. We would love to have you join!

Can I leave my car at Fernwood over night?

Answer

No. Fernwood does not allow cars to be left over night. Fernwood closes at 5 pm, please make sure all vehicles have vacated the premises shortly thereafter.
