As we know all too well, the situation with Covid-19 can change rapidly. As of mid-March, we are heartened to see that the CDC defined DeKalb County (where we live) and Fulton County (where the venue is) as regions of low community spread: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html . Based on CDC guidance, we are not requiring masks at our event, but we recognize everyone's health situation is not the same and we will certainly have them available day-of! There is some information about testing resources on our 'Things to Do' page in our "Grace & Colin's Guide to ATL" document. Again, we will be sure to have a few rapid tests on hand, too. If you have any particular questions or concerns, please get in touch!! We want everyone to feel comfortable and informed.
In general, your invitations can act as a guide to who we are planning on having at the wedding. We cannot, unfortunately, allow everyone to bring their children or a plus-one. However, we would love to chat about it if you have specific questions or a situation you want to ask about!
Let's call the dress code "cocktail attire or dressy casual." Dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, suits, button-ups, ties if you feel so inclined. In short, wedding wear! The dress code is a guide, not a rule--come as you like!
The ceremony and the reception are at the same place, our wedding venue, the Westside Warehouse. The whole shabang begins at 5:30pm on Saturday.
We'll have drinks flowing and dinner served during our reception. We're serving BBQ, but there will be vegetarian/vegan options as needed. We'll ask about dietary restrictions when collecting RSVP's.
Atlanta is a driving city, but you do not necessarily need to rent a car. It is up to you! The hotels are accessible from the airport by our metro system (MARTA) and there are places to eat/drink near the hotels as well. Rideshare apps are a common way to get around. Having a car will give you more freedom, but please note: Atlanta traffic is a force to be reckoned with and both hotels do charge for parking! For the actual wedding on Saturday night, there will be a shuttle between the venue and the two listed hotels. There is also plenty of free parking onsite at the venue for those who are driving themselves. There should be plenty of street parking at our place for the bagel brunch, too.
YES! We are having coffee and bagels at our house in East Atlanta the day after the wedding. Come by anytime after 10:30am if you can and want to! We'll be hanging out all day. There's plenty of parking. The wedding party will also be receiving invitations to a rehearsal dinner the Friday evening prior to the wedding. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any additional guests as we are maxed out on space.
Sure! Feel free to use the wedding hashtag (#grolin2022) but don't feel obligated.
If you would like to get us a gift, the registry is right here on our wedding website! There is a 'Registry' tab.
