We met sophomore year at The University of Findlay. It all started with Griffin making smoothies for Miranda after classes and them spending time talking about the most random topics. We quickly realized that we loved spending time with one another, shared a lot of the same interests, and most importantly had the same type of humor. Eventually Griffin asked Miranda if she wanted to go get dinner with him and the rest is history.

The day of the engagement Miranda had no idea what was about to happen. The families had lunch planned at Indian Bear Winery to celebrate Griffin and Miranda's birthdays (or so Miranda thought). Once we arrived we began taking pictures near the pond and before one picture Chelsea and Kathy exclaimed "Was that an Eagle?!" Miranda turned around to see the eagle and heard the shuffle of the gravel behind her come to a stop. When she turned around Griffin was down on one knee. The party did not stop with just lunch as Chelsea had planned another surprise. She had planned an engagement party for all of us to celebrate with our closest friends! It was an amazing day from start to finish.
