As all of you know, we were close family friends growing up. I, Jenna, tried many times to get Griffin's attention, however he could never get over how close our families were. Then came the day he couldn't resist any longer. We thought we were being sneaky. We were constantly texting, making excuses to go see one another to our parents, hanging out with mutual friends, etc. Apparently we weren't as sneaky as we thought. Our parents had a meeting of their own discussing Griffin and I getting together. They made a pact if anything were to happen between us they would remain best friends. Little did any of us realize we would become family!

We were planning to go to dinner with our close friends on a Friday night to celebrate Griffin's belated birthday. Griffin convinced me to get all dressed up for dinner. "We never go out, just get ready." So I got ready. Well to my surprise our friends showed up in lounge clothes, instantly I was confused. I said, "that is not fair, I want to put my slippers on." Being the stubborn person I am, slippers weren't enough. I had to put all my PJ's on. Griffin kept trying to push going on the golf course at sunset but being stubborn again, I didn't want to. We ended up hanging out on the porch, our song started to play. I thought he wanted to dance, like we always do. But NOPE. He got down on his knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Of course, I said yes!!
