FAQs

If you have any other questions that have not been addressed, please reach out to me (Gretchen) via text, call, or email. Please keep in mind that I am currently working night shift, and may not return your call immediately. Texting is the easiest way to reach me! 770-617-2832 gretvank@gmail.com
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire.

Question

How does the shuttle work?

Answer

Please reach out to Gretchen and let her know your cabin number and the number in your party!! The shuttle driver will have a list of all the cabins to stop at on the property. You must be ready to go by 5:00PM! There will not be a designated “stop time,” he will go in order as he and the planner have determined. Please be dressed and ready to go, at the door at 5:00. He will stop at the driveway of every cabin where wedding party guests are staying (that’s why it’s important to share your cabin information with Gretchen 😉)!

Question

How should I RVSP?

Answer

Please either RSVP directly to this website under the "RSVP" tab above, or kindly mail back the included RSVP Card! Whichever is easiest to do for you! However please RSVP by April 16th so we can get a proper head count!

Question

I'm getting an AirBnb, where should I look?

Answer

We highly recommend you consider staying at the Brother's Cove Cabins. We understand a destination wedding is a financial obligation, and we are grateful to have you join us on our special day! If you do want to stay at an AirBnb (or somewhere other than the Brother's Cove Cabins), Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg are fantastic areas with a variety of options. Pigeon Forge and Sevierville will be closest to the venue.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is an extremely small parking lot at the lodge, and there will be a parking attendant helping everyone park close together. We highly recommend every use the provided shuttle service instead of driving due to limited availability of parking spots, as well as to avoid driving on the mountain in the dark. Please leave these parking spots available for families with small children, or for family members who may have difficulty with the stairs of the shuttle.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! We are using the hashtag #ForBetterOrForBronstorph! If you are sharing pictures on social media, please feel free to utilize this on your posts!

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

As we are planning a destination wedding, our venue requires a strict head count. We both have large families coming from different states. While we want everyone to have fun, we ask that you please reach out if you have any concerns about a plus one. We do have a strict guest list to which we are going to adhere.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Kids are welcome ages 10 and up.
