It's both a blessing and a curse, but there is NO cell service or Wifi at Ohana Family Camp. Sorry, but you're forced to have fun with us. Should you be in a situation where you need contact outside of our awesome group of friends and family, the Camp Office does have a phone and desktop computers. It's also a short drive down the road to cell reception.
Each comfortable Ohana cabin contains a living room with a fieldstone fireplace, one to four bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a kitchenette, and a porch with a view. All cabins provide linens and towels. Please remember, as this is a functioning summer camp and not a hotel, amenities such as hair dryers and irons are not provided. For tent-loving guests, six spacious platform tents share a bathhouse and common room with a fireplace. Each tent has 4 beds, a porch, an oak chest for storage, shelves and a solar panel to shed a little night at night.
Upon your arrival, you will be met by a greeter at the camp office who will direct you to your cabin/platform tent assignment. Assignments have been determined by us so you will likely already know those who you are sharing with!
That depends on what activities you might like to do while you're celebrating with us! Ohana will provide most recreational equipment, like tennis rackets, volleyballs & netting, board games, kayaks, paddleboards, etc. Some other items you might like to consider bringing are a bathing suit, sunscreen, bug spray, flashlights, lacrosse stick/other sports equipment, your own alcoholic beverages (if you wish) for Saturday evening, a cooler for said beverages (there are also refrigerators in the cabins) and a sense of adventure.
You are welcome to choose your own adventure and participate in as many camp activities as you'd like! These are all unstructured for you to enjoy at your leisure, apart from the designated waterfront time (Sunday from 10:00am - 2:00pm...come and go as you wish) and a Lacrosse game (Sunday at 11:00am if you want to join or watch!). Here is a partial list of what Ohana has to offer: Basketball, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, wiffleball/baseball, bocce, yardzee, giant Scrabble, giant Jenga, disc golf, ladder ball, corn hole, washers, open field space (for frisbee and lacrosse!), swimming, paddle boarding, kyaking, canoeing, and more!
Your meals are included in the weekend! Please join us Saturday evening for a backyard-style Welcome Dinner (on us!). Your cabin or platform tent reservation also includes two breakfasts and a lunch. And of course, dinner will br provided during our wedding reception on Sunday!
Please bring your preferred beverages for the Saturday night Welcome Party (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). There are refrigerators in each cabin, and one located in the bathhouse/shared lounge space for the platform canopy tents, so there is plenty of space for keeping your drinks cold but feel free to bring a cooler for easy transport if you want. Beverages after the ceremony and during the Reception on Sunday are on us! Please no alcohol at the waterfront.
We are at a summer camp, so we want you to be comfortable and enjoy yourself! If those shoes are too high or that top button too tight, let it all hang loose.
