We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Celebrating their 6 year anniversary, Greta and Julia went out to dinner on February 28, 2020. After returning home, Julia put on a playlist of some of the songs that had shaped their relationship over the years including Big Theif, Feist, Van Morrison, and more. As the last song faded, Julia surprised Greta by getting down on one knee. Twelve days later, the COVID-19 pandemic made the world grind to a halt. The two challenging years that followed may have led to an unexpectedly long engagement, but they also led to a stronger partnership and an eagerness to celebrate with family & friends!

We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere other than the city we call home, Chicago. The venue is a love letter to Chicago old and new -- opened in 1893, the year of the Chicago World's Fair, and transformed into the Chicago Athletic Association hotel in 2015. Join us as we celebrate with good food, live music, and our favorite people!
