Can you believe it's actually happening?

We met as freshmen during our first semester at Clark University. After a chance encounter at dinner one evening, we occasionally ran into each other on campus until we ended up in the same history class the following semester. After discovering we shared a love for Doctor Who and animals, we began spending more time together. Whether we were having movie marathons, trying different restaurants, or following animal tracks in the snow, we were almost inseparable. After graduating from Clark, we spent the next 5 years living long distance, with Greg in New York and Rachel in Massachusetts and eventually in Florida. Finally, in June 2020, Greg moved to Florida to join Rachel as she finished her degree!

Covid usually keeps people apart but in our case it was the backdrop for our proposal. Rather than spend the evening as intended with a special date night out- we spent it quarantining together with a romantic date "in". Greg recreated the animal tracks from when we first met and laid out a path for Rachel to follow. At the end of the path was Greg, a beautiful ring and a truly Covid era proposal!
