We were lucky enough to be introduced by two of our best friends: Lauren and Pat Powderly (thanks guys!). It was Halloween and we were celebrating Lauren’s birthday in Baltimore, Maryland at The Admiral’s Cup. Zach ended up driving to Philly and taking me on our first date two weeks later!

Zach had told me we were having dinner with his grandparents in Annapolis. As we pulled up to the dinner spot downtown by the water, Zach got down on one knee. Adorably enough, he held the ring box upside down so I couldn’t see the ring. Once he correctly flipped the box over, and I got a good look at the ring ;), I said YES! I was then surprised by a room full of our loved ones watching the proposal and waiting to celebrate with us! It was a night to remember.
