Grace and Max both attended Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, CA. Originally, they came from different worlds, Grace from the North in the lands of Novato and Max from the South in the lands of Mill Valley. Grace ran the soccer pitch stopping anyone who tried to strike the ball near her. Max was a water-type protecting the goal for water polo teams across the county. College brought Grace to the University of Kansas to be a Jay Hawk and Max to UC Davis to become an Aggie (lol). After graduating high school, heading off to college, and returning to the city by the bay they were reintroduced on the SF party circuit by a mutual friend, Peter Thalman. The two were pretty much (minus one month of Max's uncertainty) inseparable and the love grew and grew over music, movies, murder, cooking, dancing, vibing, and generally being the same person. Fast forward through 5 years of love, an apartment together, 2 cats, and endless episodes of forensic files they knew it wasn't gonna get any better and it was time to do the biggest upgrade ever possible… become the Garrisons! Grax had a special Bachelor/ette trip to Mexico planned with family and friends to celebrate their love and surprise the attendees with a wedding ceremony. Unfortunately, the world had other plans... Due to the COVID19 virus and pandemic, the trip had to be called off. BUT.....they weren’t gonna let a virus get in the way of the ultimate goal, celebrating their love and getting hitched! On Monday, March 16, 2020, surrounded by their siblings, Grace & Max tied the knot and became the Garrisons.
