Gilligan’s “Island” here we come!

Our story starts with us officially meeting in the 7th grade at Haile Middle School. While we had grown to what Grant assumed was “Best Friends” by the 8th grade, Marissa had longed to be more than friends. Throughout the next couple of years there would be all kinds of teenage drama you love to see in a cheesy movie. However, by the 10th grade Grant would finally muster the courage to ask Marissa to their sophomore homecoming dance where they would share their first kiss. We made the relationship official on October 19th, 2011. Almost 10 "short" years later, Grant proposed April 16th, 2021 at a charming winery in North Carolina on a friends trip. We are so lucky to have grown with each other throughout middle school, high school, college, and now adulthood as we continue to navigate the waters of everyday life by each other's side! We can’t wait to share our happily ever after with our closest friends and family!
