They met at a Starbucks for hot chocolate. Grant had just watched the Jags lose and Emily was bored on a Sunday night and thought- 'hot chocolate sounds good, and this guy works at a bank so no way he's going to kill me.' They went on that first date, and another date the next day and 8 dates straight after that. They've been inseparable ever since and can not wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
Emily took Grant to London to see the Jags vs. Bronco game at the Wembley stadium for his birthday. Although this was Emily's birthday gift to Grant, he knew something she didn't. The night that the Jags inevitably lost, Grant took Emily to a cute little restaurant in Downtown London called 'Hyde'. They were supposed to give him a private room, but put them in the general population with what seemed like a million people around. After dinner, Emily had a funny suspicious he was going to propose but kept it to her self. After Grant dragged her to get ice cream a couple blocks down he insisted they had to go for a walk. At this point Emily's stiletto high heels (that were a size too small) were starting to show their true colors. As they walked, and walked... and walked- they finally stopped in front of a CLOSED park. Five blocks later with an agitated Emily, Grant got down on one knee and asked Emily to marry him. She said a resounding 'YES!!!' and the rest is history- We can't wait to celebrate with you, see you in Jacksonville!
