Our I-Do Crew

Meet our family that helps make our special day so special!

Sarah Welch

Maid of Honor

We met on a missions trip to North Eleuthera, Bahamas in 2015 and hit it off immediately. I have so many great memories of us. I remember playing volleyball at your graduation party and then having to look for your friends ring with a metal detector the next day. Going on a ghost tour in Salem with you and Joe was so much fun too! Do you remember the giant purple hat we ised to joke about? You are so kind, gracious, witty, brilliant, and intelligent. I'm so lucky to be able to call you my friend (let's be real, you're basically my sister at this point) and to have you stand with me.

David Cockson

Best Man

I first met David as this new guy in this homeschool club. His family just came moved to Raleigh and didn't know anybody. We quickly bonded in this club and started hanging out outside doing random stuff like climbing ladders onto business' roofs and driving on the wrong side of the road (it was an accident, I promise). Now, we're best friends even if he moved away to go to some dumb school named UNC Wilmington. We still find time to hang out and do stupid stuff together just like always.

Caitlin Pearce

Bridesmaid

We met in 4th grade which was complete torture but such a beautiful friendship came from it, I can't be super upset. Just don't bring it up. I can recall so many, embarrassing, moments and just as many beautiful ones. From walking from my house to Applebees and Kohl's, to all kinds of crazy other things, you've been such an adventurer with me. I still remember how we snuck out at 2 am to remove the painter's tape I wrapped around a porta potty across the street. We were successful until we had to sneak back in. Well, you were successful... I was not. You're so much fun to hang out with and be around. I love how every time I'm with you, it's an adventure that usually involves a scary movie or two. You've always been so amazing and you're going to go far in life. I'm so happy to have you standing with me.

Noah Tippett

Groomsman

Noah was this shy, ultra-weird kid when I met him at 13 years old. Now, he's still ultra-weird, just no longer shy about it. He fully embraces who he is and that's why we get along! We've spent so many hours together watching the dumbest TV shows and playing really, really bad games on Steam because we were bored. Although, the Portal 2 co-op campaign was the best, I admit. He was right about that. He introduced me to Joey as well, so that's another reason I have Noah around.

Ann Marie Lindley

Bridesmaid

We met in 4th grade and became great friends pretty quickly and actively stayed friends all through high school and into college. My memories of us include a lot of trouble (caused by both of us) from climbing out on your roof to you climbing into a trashcan so you could jump out at a car as it drove by. I do think one of the craziest is when we tried on my moms brown wigs and convinced your mom we died your hair. Even though we had made it clear to her that it wasn't real, you weren't allowed over for another 2 months. Also, plan Boiled Peanuts to have your mom homeschool you. It worked, even if only for a week; we were still successful. You are a force of nature and I love that about you. You're willing to try almost everything and it makes you unstoppable. You've grown so much and have become your own person who is traveling and living her life to the fullest. I'm so happy to have you stand with me.

Joey Faress

Groomsman

Have you ever had a moment where you thought an idea was just too dumb to work but then decided to do it anyway? And it works?? That's quite literally Joey's mindset. He's never afraid to just do something regardless of what happens. Even if he breaks something of mine every time he comes over. But even still, Joey's a great guy to hang out with, and he's always cooking up some food to share.

Shaelin Hogan

Bridesmaid

We met at the neighborhood pool when you were in town from Colorado and quickly bonded over our love of volleyball. We would play volleyball in the pool and it was a lot harder than on a court. Every year when you were back in town we would hang out at the pool. One of my favorite memories of us is when I was in Colorado visiting you and we went to Manitou Springs. We had so much fun just walking around and shopping. I still wear my baja your family bought me. We met at a rough time in my life and brought light back into it. I've always enjoyed just being there with you. You're so motivated and I know that one day you'll change the world, starting with the animals. I'm so happy to have you stand with me.

Daniel Coleman

Ring Bearer

Daniel is my little brother. I met him in 2007 when he was born and he's been with us ever since (obviously). Now, we're in Tae Kwon Do together so we "practice" sparring each other on a daily basis. It usually just ends up as the occasional series of light punches and kicks as we walk by each other. Always keep practicing with me, buddy.

For all the days along the way
